What's the purpose of Man Camp?
Men are generally isolated, lonely, discouraged, and spiritually "dry" in this unique time in society; we want to combat that!
Are we camping?
Yes. This is a huge campout; multiple campfires, multiple campsites, and tons of wilderness action.
Do I need a tent?
Sorta. You need to either have your own tent, or share a tent with someone else. Consider sharing a tent with your "wingman." If you don't have a tent, just let us know and we can try and make arrangements.
What if I can't tent camp for medical/health reasons?
You are more than welcome to get a hotel in Oxford (20 minutes away) or drive back and forth. If you need us to help you make reservations, please let us know.
What activities can I expect?
There are some incredible stocked lakes/ponds on the property for fishing. We also have a company coming in from Alabama to bring an official trap/skeet shooting course for us. If that isn't enough, you can hike around, bike around, or lounge around.
What about food?
We got you covered. No need to bring anything. We have a cooking crew that is going to make sure everyone eats well. We'll also have plenty of snacks. If you have dietary restrictions, please let us know: luke.saunders@colonialhills.church
Do y'all have some man swag?
Yes. It will be for sale at Man Camp.
What if I'm not a Christian? Am I invited?
Yes! We welcome all men.
What if I don't know anyone?
We will make sure you know someone before the weekend! Trust us -- you don't want to miss this!
What if I can't afford to go?
Just let us know; we have scholarships available!
What if I don't have facial hair?
Start growing.
