If you’d like to serve on an international mission project with us this year, consider joining us for a trip to El Salvador with Compassion International this December 5-10. We’ll visit the Compassion Center, interact with the children who attend there (many of whom our church members’ sponsor!), visit homes, and encourage the leaders and families we see. You can apply to go on the trip HERE (application does not guarantee a spot on the trip as each applicant will need to be vetted by our pastors/elders). CH Students is heading back to New Orleans this spring break (March 10-15) to serve alongside various ministries throughout the city via the organization MissionLab. All 9th through 12th graders are welcome to attend! Cost is $349, with a $75 deposit due at the time of registration, and covers travel, non-travel meals, t-shirt, supplies, programming, and housing at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. DNOW 24 is coming up February 16-18, and students in grades 6th through 12th grade do NOT want to miss this fun and fulfilling weekend! As you probably know, the forty days leading up to Easter is called Lent, a time of preparation and prayer that begins with Ash Wednesday. Christians throughout history have taken care to pause, repent, and prepare for the season on this day. We believe this special time of remembrance and preparation will greatly stir your affections for Jesus and invite you to more deeply consider his death and resurrection.

We’ll focus on the theme of “Joy in the Januaries” and consider how sanctification - growing with God - is a JOYFUL RELIEF in a world gone January. Tables is a time of worship, teaching, and fellowship—a special event designed to give women an opportunity to enjoy a shared faith around a shared table. We’ll hear a message from Caroline Saunders, eat some delicious food, worship together, and enjoy getting to know one another better all while having fun with the women around us! Make plans to come with your LifeGroup, friends from church—or hey, even friends who don’t go to our church who are craving connection with God and other women. We cannot wait to see you at Tables!

Colonial Hills Young Adult ministry has their annual Bonfire Worship event coming up on October 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the Whitfield residence in Nesbit, MS. This beloved event provides an intimate, carefully designed outdoor worship setting that allows 18-25-year-olds to celebrate the Lord's goodness and build connections with a community of peers.
