Lauren is a Christian, a mom, wife to country musician Thomas Rhett, and a dedicated philanthropist who is beloved for her down-to-earth nature, kindness, and joy. Ticket costs include dinner and a copy of Lauren’s book Live in Love: Growing Together Through Life's Changes. Spots are limited, so be sure to register soon. Back to School Bash is coming up Sunday, August 4! Back to School Bash is our annual takeover of our regular Sunday morning programming that helps us celebrate the new school year for all kids ministry—and it’s when in our new kindergarteners join us and receive a special gift. We hope your family will join us for this exciting morning!

Our morning together will begin with a ruck at 7 a.m., followed by breakfast at 8 a.m. along with worship and teaching from Pastor Rick. As you probably know, the forty days leading up to Easter is called Lent, a time of preparation and prayer that begins with Ash Wednesday. Christians throughout history have taken care to pause, repent, and prepare for the season on this day. We believe this special time of remembrance and preparation will greatly stir your affections for Jesus and invite you to more deeply consider his death and resurrection.

We’ll focus on the theme of “Joy in the Januaries” and consider how sanctification - growing with God - is a JOYFUL RELIEF in a world gone January. Tables is a time of worship, teaching, and fellowship—a special event designed to give women an opportunity to enjoy a shared faith around a shared table. We’ll hear a message from Caroline Saunders, eat some delicious food, worship together, and enjoy getting to know one another better all while having fun with the women around us! Make plans to come with your LifeGroup, friends from church—or hey, even friends who don’t go to our church who are craving connection with God and other women. We cannot wait to see you at Tables!

We’ll gather together to pack food boxes, and then we’ll split up to deliver them to local families in need this holiday season. Sexuality is a complex and confusing yet necessary topic to navigate. How can we navigate it well? As a former agnostic gay man, Dr. Yuan uses his personal story and rich biblical knowledge to cast a compelling vision for embracing Christ—not our sexuality—and then unpacking what that means for living out our sexuality. Colonial Hills Young Adult ministry has their annual Bonfire Worship event coming up on October 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the Whitfield residence in Nesbit, MS. This beloved event provides an intimate, carefully designed outdoor worship setting that allows 18-25-year-olds to celebrate the Lord's goodness and build connections with a community of peers. There’s a full worship set, coffee bar, food, and even merch. Don’t miss it!
