Winter Camp is a weekend retreat for students in 6th-12th grade to disconnect from the distractions and noise of everyday life in order to engage with God’s word, fellowship with other believers, and have a ton of fun!
Over the weekend we will have four teaching and worship sessions led by Colonial Hills voices and leadership. In addition, students will be broken out into grade and gender specific small groups (led by CH Students volunteers) to dive deeper into the content and help students foster Christian community with others. The rest of the time will be filled with pickleball, disc golf, team-building games, bonfires, and much more!
We will be staying at Camp Tanglewood in Lawrence, MS. With plenty of amenities, comfortable lodging, and delicious food (not to mention the beautiful property!), we have no doubt our group will enjoy their time at Winter Camp!
Winter Camp is $250 per student, and a $50 deposit is due when you register.

We will travel via charter buses to and from camp. Departure will be on Friday, January 16th at 6:00pm from Colonial Hills Church Hernando and we will return around 1:00pm on Monday, January 19th.

Bible, notebook, bedding (twin bed), warm clothes for outdoor activities, tennis shoes, and a water bottle.

Winter Camp is a phone-free trip in order to remove the distractions that would disrupt what God has planned for the weekend. Students are allowed to bring their phones, however they will be taken up and stored securely throughout the weekend. Students will receive their phones each night for about 15 minutes in order to check in with those back home.

Absolutely! We love when students invites their friends to join them. Anyone in 6th thru 12th grade is welcome to come to Winter Camp.
